Antimonopoly and competition law

Company-law issues very often go hand-in-hand with antimonopoly-law matters; therefore, a comprehensive range of services for clients must also include support in this area.

We represent clients in, and advise them on, proceedings before antimonopoly authorities:

  • the President of the Competition and Consumers Protection Office and
  • the European Commission

Our firm’s lawyers prepare legal opinions for our Polish and international clients concerning the compliance of their activities with applicable laws and regulations regarding competition protection and consumer protection with particular attention given to practices violating the collective interests of consumers and to unfair market practices. In the course of providing day-to-day legal services to clients, our lawyers pay particular attention to practices (contractual clauses) that might potentially infringe the collective interests of consumers.

We have advised one of the leading newspaper groups in Poland and represented it in a  number of antimonopoly proceedings before the national competition protection authority regarding concentration control.
